A Risk Assessment is a key factor in protecting employees and your business, as well as complying with the Law. It identifies risks within your company and work operations and the ones with the potential to cause harm.
A Risk Assessment is simply a careful examination of what, in your work, could have the potential to cause harm to people, so that you can assess whether you have taken enough precautions or should do more to prevent harm in the workplace.
A work Method Statement sometimes called a “Safe System of Work” is a document that details the way a work task or process is to be completed. The Method Statement should outline the hazards involved and detail a step by step guide on how to do the job safely
